Predator Controlled Areas in the TFBT Central Bridge January 2020 to July 2021
The Forest Bridge Trust’s (TFBT) long-term vision is a connected landscape with healthy forest and flourishing indigenous wildlife from the Kaipara Harbour to the Pacific Coast.
TFBT has a geographically staged approach to achieving its vision. For the five years from 2020 to 2025 focus will be on achieving a predator-controlled corridor of land, the Central Bridge – an area of 54,000 hectares connecting the existing wildlife sanctuaries at Mataia Restoration Project in the west to Tawharanui Regional Park in the east.
